1. 50+28=78 so 22% are neither. Multiply 22/100 X 22/100 X 22/100 X 22/100 because you need four voters.

2. You should find the probability that none are, then subtract from 1.
The prob that someone is not Republican is 100 -28 or 72%

So 72/100 X 72/100 X 72/100 X 72/100 is probability of no Republicans. Find this and subtract it from 1 so get P(at least 1 Rep.)

If you conduct a poll by CALLING. You introduce some interesting sampling errors.

1. Are republicans more likely to to have phones than deomcrats?

2. Are they more likely to have unlisted numbers?

3. Are democrats more likely not answer the phone bacause thay need three full time jobs just to pay the rent/food/gas?

2.
in those 4 one is republican and 3 are others
