to see if there might be some value to a old book i have?

this is a small book about 5"x3" and about an 1and
a half thick. the name of the book is"Psalms,Hymn's and spiritual songs" printed and published by A. Campbell in 1854

Try to look it up on www.abebooks.com. This site is a conglomerate of many small/medium book sellers. You can usually find rare books with a range of prices. This may at least give you some idea without taking it to an appraiser.

On just a quick search I did see one for US$ 165.00
