In January 1994, Canada, the United States and Mexico launched the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and formed the world's largest free trade area. The Agreement has brought economic growth and rising standards of living for people in all three countries. In addition, NAFTA has established a strong foundation for future growth and has set a valuable example of the benefits of trade liberalization.

NAFTA was (and is) just another way to further enrich big business at the expense of middle and lower middle class Americans. The employers no longer have to provide safe working conditions nor to meet basic requirements to protect the workers as they would if the work remained in the U.S. Even companies who are opposed to the selling out of American livelihoods are forced to do the same as they can't compete with those who are in effect using slave labor with the blessings of the U.S. government.

Although NAFTA displaced some workers in the US, Mexico, and Canada, more jobs were created than lost. All countries could focus more freely on producing what they are best at producing.
And in general, the more we produce, the more we sell, and the better off we end up.
So, I support NAFTA.

No... Because any trade with 3rd world countries is unfair trade... The price of property is compounded into the cost of all goods and services, America has allowed greedy people and business's from all over the World to buy up property as an investment using most of the money from our banking systems, this not only makes it impossible for us to compete with countries that have very low cost of land, but it also takes money out of our banks that should have created jobs for people in America, there by decreasing our wages, there by decreasing the tax base, there by inflating the National deficit, there by raising our taxes... To sum things up, unfair trade has lowered our wages while making some people rich, who use their wealth to buy up property along with stealing money from our banks, which raises our cost of living, putting an economic squeeze effect (low wages, high cost of living) on most Americans..... Ross Perot once said that if NAFTA was passed we would hear a giant sucking sound as jobs go out of America and that's exactly what has happened.

NAFTA means Exporting US jobs for slave-labor markets. It does not benefit the poor countries and it hurts US Labor. The unemployed US workers now become wards of the state welfare system. If you are big business then it is a win.
