If a test says no the chances are that you are not but to be sure i would go to your doctor and get a blood test done by him/her

Yeah, that may have been a tiny bit early to test depending on which brand you used, but a lot of time has passed since then so if you still haven't gotten your period, go ahead a test again. Test as often as you like, actually.

The reasons it may have been too soon is just because you had sex on a certain day does not at all indicate that was when conception or implantation occured. It can take a few days for the sperm to travel up to the fallopian tubes and then for the zygote to travel back down and implant on the uterus. Pregnancy hormone doesn't start getting made until after implantation has occurred.

I'd recommend using the urine from the first flow of urine in the morning after you first wake up because the hormone would be more concentrated.

Yes, you definately tested too soon.

I would wait another week it was me. I'd also buy a two pack test this time. So, you can test next week and the week after. Usually, if you test on the day of your missed period you'll get an accurate result.

Another point - you want to time sex right during your ovulation. I'm assuming you did that, but your 7 days after makes it unclear.

ALSO:

Pee in a cup. A disposable cup works best. Then, dip the stick in the urine for twenty seconds. This is the BEST way to do the Home Pregnancy tests. The whole 'urnine stream' is a joke. This is the method they use at the dr/s office.

For a home test to show up it takes 5-7 days after implantation to show give it another week and take it again. If still negative with all the signs have a blood test done then you will know for sure. Your hcg levels have to be over 20 for a urine test and only 5 for a blood test. Good luck.

You had a period and had sex AFTER ovulation and had a negative test. I would say you are not pregnant.

To get pregnant you have to have sex BEFORE ovulation occurs. The only chance you had of getting pregnant was the day after ovulation. The egg may have possibly been viable/alive still.

You could wait another week and test again just o be sure but I would say you are not pregnant. "Signs" can be completely phsychological.

seven days after sex is fr too soon. Normally you have to give it 4 weeks before it shows up. When you say signs - remember you body can play tricks on you. You normally ovulate 10-14 days after your last period - and sex 7 days after ovulation may be too late to make you pregnant. I would wait a week or two and try again if you still have sickness, tender breasts and any of the other symptoms.

You probably tested too soon. It takes some time for you body to build up enough of the HCG hormone for the HPTs to detect. Wait at least another week or a few days after your missed period and test again.

First you need to relax, if you're tense that could influence in getting pregnant. The signs could be psychological, I recommend to take another test or better take a blood test.

False negatives aren't unusual so see your GP, or if you want to wait a while give it a few more days!
