I love a good spitroasting, all that pork - wow!!
...I went to a whole cow roast earlier in the summer...I have never seen so much meat, it was so succulent...just wonderful!

Whoa!! A whole cow??? 'Guess I'll catch the next plane to England.
Here in the Midwest, we have quite a few pig roasts on spits.
Maybe they spitroast cows in Texas.

As an American, I can assure you that we do enjoy pig roasts, steer roasts and even cooking venison on a spit. Many people host events that feature cooking whole lambs, too. There is a tradition of having feasts of this type for special ocassions and many people construct wonderful roasters that are complete with motorized spits and racks for cooking potatoes and sweet corn.
