In Indiana, they do until they are 21. I helped promote that law. It cut down on the drop out rate greatly.

I think High School Dropouts should lose their licenses until they are 21. First off dropping out shows a lack of responsibility, secondly if you take away the possibility of being able to cruise around etc. dropping out would not sound as good. For the rest of the population it means that our insurance rates would stay stable or go down. The dropout rate would decrease which means taxes used to help support people who can not get good jobs would go down.

I dropped out of school my senior year of High school, I needed my driver's licenses to go to work and pursuit other opportunities. I did get my GED go to University and work in Pharmaceuticals now. If I didn't have my driver's licenses I would have been screwed.

So would this be telling them that they can't drive or fly or do anything connected with having to provide their drives license b/c they don't have an education? How sad although I believe highly of an education.

That's a great Idea! Unless it's a female or a male who must drop out to support his or her family...So he or she must get a job...but anyway else is nonsense....they should loose their driving priveleges

It's my opinion, but I say that if the person isn't responsible enough to stay in school, then he/she isn't responsible enough to drive.
