How will information need to be structured in order for a user to be able to access it as easily and quickly as possibe?

Been there, done that.
OO is the flavour of the moment - Inheritance, methods, encapsulation and the re-introduction of the class-system to middle england.
Pile of crap, relational (which all OO fundamentally relies on anyway, even if the guy trying to sell you .NET won't admit it) is at least a hundred times quicker if you DON'T know what you're doing.
Shut down the microsoft corporation - they are very good at marketting, but know dick-all about computers.

imho, as it is, personal technology devices (PCs, cell phones etc.) are powerful enough, but they certainly need to be designed to become more user-friendly....

big letters and type slowly as most people can't read too quickly
