I recently purchased a 2001 Ford F150 truck. So far everything else works great but neither turn signal will turn off after making my turn. I'm talking either sharp turns or not so sharp. It's annoying but I can live with it but I had rather not. The truck has an airbag in the steering wheel so how much will it cost to get a professional to fix it?

So you have to manually flip the signal stalk back, and it'll stop blinking, right?

The "turn signal switch" in the steering column is broken. The switch is probably about $150-$200 (hopefully less!) then add about 1 hour labor to actually do it.

Hello - Glen Kawesch here.

Something has broken in your steering column. You will have to either take the car to a shop or buy a book on the car to fix it yourself. . But also don't know how new and so with an air bag or not. If you get a book on the car, you will want the one for your car's year and model. Hope this helps, good luck! Glenn Kawesch

the place I stay, the worry-free variety of cases I see somebody use a blinker is approximately as quickly as according to holiday, no longer counting turning lanes. And the section I stay in maintains to be incredibly busy. I would desire to agree approximately youthful human beings probably being no longer able to do this effortless activity. i'm 21 and in college and it drives me rather INSANE to ascertain a rather good variety of persons on campus turn this way and that without utilising a blinker. yet then, I additionally would desire to characteristic that I see a rather good variety of center-elderly and elderly human beings doing this actual comparable difficulty. only one greater reason the elderly would desire to would desire to take yet another driving try while they attain a undeniable age, IMO. That should be my best puppy peeve whilst driving. it relatively is have been given to be the least confusing difficulty to do and between the main secure, yet human beings can no longer fairly get the assumption down of pushing the little stick up or down!
