You can get pregnant while on the pill. I am a BC baby and so are my 2 siblings. I refuse to take the pill. I have an IUD. Works GREAT!!!! I have had it for 2 years and I love this thing. It lasts for 7 years. Maybe you should look into getting this BC. I don't believe in the pill because there are so many BC babies out there, best of luck to you!

It all depends on the type of pill she was taking, some kinds are more effective than others. Also, sickness and diarrhoea can reduce the effects of the pill. However, if a woman takes the pill regularly and hasn't been ill, the odds of getting pregnant are very small.
The moral of the story guys, is don't trust a woman to take the pill, if they want your baby, they'll have it.

Depending on which pill she is on the pill is usually 98-99% effective. The pill has to be taken on schedule everyday or in will not be as effective. Some antibiotics can make the pill invalid. I was on the pill and was prescribed hydrocodone and 9 months later I had a baby girl. Nothing is 100%.

If she is taking the pill properly the chance is about 1%, but if she either misses a pill or doesn't take the pill at the same time every day I believe the percentage is more like 5%.

5-8 out of 100 girls will get pregnant using the pill. This also means you up the probability if you have sex 100 times--statistically you would have a high probability of getting her pregnant 5-8 times.

Less than one percent, if she's taking it right. If it's a concern, find the information packet that came with her meds and check it. It should have a comparison chart of the effectiveness of several different methods, or at least the exact percentage for the pill.
