I think that i might be pregnant. i feel like i might be, kind of like one of those things that a woman should know. i have a lot of the symtoms. i have never been pregnant before but my doctor said that the urine test that he gave me was neagtive but to some back in two weeks if i didn't get my period. we are both firefighters and soon to be EMT's so we kind of both have the same feeling.
can anyone tell me if this has ever happened before and if it has is it likly that the second test will be negative too.

False negatives result because your body has not produced enough hCG for the test to read a negative. The pregnancy hormone keeps increasing pretty quickly at first, so sometimes it just takes a couple days or weeks for there to be enough hormone in your urine to register on a test.
If you are indeed pregnant, it is not likely for a test taken so much after your missed period to come out negative.
You can do your own test at home if you can't wait a whole 2 weeks, the urine tests at the doctor's office are really not any different than the at home tests.

I did 2 home pregnancy tests before I went to the doctor and they both were positive. Then she had me do the urine test again at the office and it was negative then she ordered the blood test and it should up positive. She said that I probably drank a lot of water before the test, which I think I did, and that diluted my urine for HCA levels.

you could be, if you dont get your period in a couple of weeks they will probably do a blood test cause your hormone level might have just not been high enough for the urine test

well sometimes it takes the blood test to tell if you are pregnant howeer if you are even a little stressed out about it or anything really your hormones create an imbalance and can cause you to have symptoms of pregnancy

depends when your period id due? try a first response hpt not digtial, that test worked on me 1 week before my period
