Spiderman gets so obsessed with killing the sandman that he forgets his other responsibilities and turns his dark side. Ofcourse later he finds himself again and then kicks the living sh#t outa the baddies.

My guess is Spiderdude turns evil. No one knows this for sure yet. The movie doesn't come out for a while.
