i live in ferndale michigan and i cant find anything on getting my high or even a ged done i dont want to pay out alot of money i want to finsh so i can go to college. please help me soon i want to do this asap

This depends on your age and how much of your high school education you finished. Be wary of places that offer diplomas on line for high school or college. Check to make sure they are accredited , otherwise your diploma will be worthless to the colleges. The quickest way is to ask your local college if they would accept a diploma from that place. They do know who is accredited and who isnt. You can study for your GED at home, but the test is taken on site. Check with your local library, or high school often they offer GED tutoring after school and at night. If you are under 21 and only have a few classes to complete you may be able to finish them at the high school as a part time student. Some community colleges have high school classes as opposed to GED.

The best way to get your GED is to sign up for classes at your local adult school. But if you want to do it at home, most bookstores carry the GED study book. It costs about $20. There are practice tests in it. Study and take the practice tests until you feel comfortable with it, then go to the adult school for the actual test. There will be a cost for that also, but I'm not sure how much. Just call them and find out. Good luck :)

Go to yahoo search and look for Cornerstone Christian School in Townsend, GA. It's not the easiest diploma but this one is a real high school diploma. You earn it kind of like home school(by mail) but it's very fast.
