He already has the old one and has ton's of games. He really wants it now and I think it's just the fact that others are making such a huge deal out of it. I know a few people that are possibly getting some and will sell them so I'm just wondering. I have read that they are going to have a ton of issues and the next shipment won't be available until March. That's $600 or more that's spent on a game should I or shouldn't I.

I told him if he couldn't get one now then I would get him one when the next shipment came out and it seemed as though that wasn't good enough!

If you can afford it and can get your hands on one you should do it. The supply will be limited so if he has it, he will be the one guy that people know who has one. I think the price is justified at this point and will not get cheaper by March. The blue ray player itself costs $100-$200 more on its own. Granted it has a couple of feature the PS3 does not. You also really do need to have an HDTV to use it. If not, invest in that first, there are no gotta have games on the PS3 at launch.

Well it depends if you can afford a $600.00 game. Sounds a little expensive to me... My husband just last week got a Play Station 2...... We wait for the prices to drop before we run out and buy things like that...Of course he complains he's the last person in the world to get one...

NO! Its going to be WAAAY overpriced. besides your looking at $100+ for a game then. If no one buys the thing it'll flop and either go down in price, or they'll come out with something else, which they will anyhow in acouple years.
