I think the concept of the film isn't very good. Regardless of who played the role I don't think the movie would have been very good.

on condition that society's definition of 'who' and 'what' Marie Antoinette actual grew to become into, and what she stood for, adjustments with each new era, Kirsten Dunst's interpretation of a reveal screen author's characterization of an historic parent is not extra, nor much less, precise than the different portrayal before given. historic previous has no longer been sort to Marie Antoinette. Nor too have the action image critics. Who might you have forged for the function?

I think Kirsten was the wrong choice for the Virgin Suicides, because all of the characters in the books are supposed to be, oh, brunette, and she didn't play the character as I had envisioned her, but I won't argue with Sofia Coppola. Her movies are beautiful and hypnotic, and I didn't have any issues this time around. I have a love for Natalie Portman, I'd like to see her in a period/historical piece (other than her small role in Cold Mountain).

Kirsten dunst is the worst choice for any role. I think someone like Kate beckinsale would be fine.

Anyone with an IQ above 3. But think about the cool antics with Aston Kutcher as King Louie.

Anyone could of portrayed the part better than Kristen. It was a let down...Claire Danes maybe but Kristen was huge, huge mistake!

I do - I just don't see her as that kind of a serious actress. She makes it look like a pop movie instead of an historical epic. This may sound odd, but I'm wondering if Mena Suvari could have pulled it off? Scarlett Johanssen could have done it, but she's been really busy lately. ;) I'm curious to see who other people will suggest.

I didn't see the movie, but just in the previews she didn't look that good. She doesn't really fit that part. As someone else said - Claire Danes would have been a good choice.

I think she was an alright choice, considering the age factor, I dont really know of another actress in her age bracket who could have pulled it off, maybe Claire Danes
