Hello Im 34 weeks and 3 days I went for doc check up and he said my cervix was changing but I was still high. What does this mean? Is it too soon for cervix to be changing?

I am 35 weeks and went yesterday too. My cervix is thinning, but the doctor wasn't worried. You can walk around for weeks being partially thinned and/or dialated. You're probably at a point now where if you went into labor they wouldn't stop it. The doctor probably meant that your baby was at a high "station," which is doctor language for how far the babies head is from you know where. Your baby just probably hasn't "dropped" yet. If the doctor was concerned, he/she would have told you.

i am 36.6 weeks pregnant today. My cervix began to change between 34 and 35 weeks. It is probably just getting softer...your cervix will soften efface and dilate. If you are really curious ask your doc at the next exam if you are effaced or dilated (maybe a lil of both) My cervix is beginning to efface and last week i was a fingertip dilated. Its just a good sign that your body is getting to work. Congrats!

It just means that it's preparing for birth. 37 weeks is full term so you're right on schedule. Don't worry good things come to those who wait.
