If you go to the Columbia University website they have a section which gives the average SAT scores and rank in class for the kids who were admitted last fall.
Columbia is one of the toughest schools in the USA to get into. Very few people apply unless they are top students, and of the 20,000 top students who apply, only 2000 are accepted.
Your chances are reasonably good if you attend a very good high school, you are one of the very best students in the school, have top SATs, have been a leader in your school extracurriculars, and have taken APs and other tough courses. If you are weak in any of those areas, it is likely you will not be admitted.
