First, Clinton awarded no bid contracts to Haliburton too. It is because that is the only company in the world specifically designed to rebuild (or in the case of Iraq, build) a nations infrastructure after a war.

Second, not a drop more of Iraqi oil has gone to America or American coffers. I know you really like the slogan "no blood for oil," but we aren't getting any oil. Adjust your solgans to reality.

Third, no. You avatar doesn't look like George Bush.

Since people certain persons have doubted your understanding of world affairs, let me take the liberty of helping you out a little.
Let us travel to 17th Jan and up to and including 28th feb 1991, the start and end of the first gulf war.
G W Bush was a $50 00 a year consultant to Harken energy Corp. of Grand Prairie Texas. In Jan 1991 days before Desert Storm was launched Harken shocked the business world by announcing, an oil-production agreement with the small island nation of Bahrain, a former UK protectorate and a haven for international bankers off the coast of Saudi Arabia. Bahrain was listed amongst the top 40 countries in the world with the highest Gross Domestic Product in 1996.
Veteran oilmen wondered how on earth Harken, with no previous drilling experience obtained such a potentially lucrative deal. furthermore, it was reported that " Harken`s investments in the area will be protected by a 1990 agreement signed with the US allowing American and `multi-national` forces to set up permanent bases in that country"
Bush the younger, in October 1990, told Houston Post reporter Peter Brewton that accusations that his father ordered troops to the area to protect Harken drilling rights were " a little far fetched". He further claimed he had sold his Harken stock before the Iraqi invasion, but Brewton could find no record of the sale in the files of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
Records of Bush`s Harken stock sale finally turned up in March 1991, eight months after the July 10,1990, SEC deadline for filing such disclosures. One week after Saddam`s troops entered Kuwait, Harken stock had dropped to $3.03 a share. The tardy SEC records revealed that by some good fortune, Bush had sold 66%of his Harken stock on June 22, 1990 just weeks prior to Iraq`s invasion of Kuwait- for a top dollar price of $4.00 a share, netting the current President $848,560.
It`s not about oil though is it? Ignorance will kill you. It is still happening NOW !!! You doubt me ? Try this little puppy.

bush didn't count the money. that was cheney's job while rumsefeld just counted the 2,800 US bodies. bush will of course be rich on the post-president circuit and undoubtedly much of the funds will come from oilmen. corruption works in many ways, sometimes years after the events...

No, the face needs to be a little more slender, and you need to have this "I'm trying to make it look like I'm concentrating, but really I'm wondering what to have for lunch" look on it's face.

You have the eye's right though.
