It really matters where you live, if you can get a real tree for cheap and can cut it down yourself, thats a great family activity and you have more of a choice. If you dont feel like cutting your own tree down and are going out to buy one, get an artifical one so you won't have to go out every year and buy a new real one.

Artifical but only because we have people in the family that are allergic to the real ones.

Artificial two reasons First less mess, Second I am allergic to pine needles. Growing up we always had real trees and I was sick every Christmas now I can enjoy the holidays with my family. I love artificial trees and the people that made them.

I prefer an artificial holiday tree that looks real, because I don't like the idea of killing a tree for just a temporary decoration.

Artifical-less needles everywhere and all you have to do is pack it all away and there's less clean up.

Sad to say, artificial. I don't like the expense and fuss of having a real tree every year. I barely have enough money to cover presents, so I don't like to have to make extra unnecessary purchases too.

You can't beat a real tree. I may get one this year since my kids are big enough to not mess with it now.
