For the main campus, it probably requires a higher GPA than a regional campus. However, the admissions committee takes more than just the GPA and SAT/ACT scores into consideration. It also takes class rank into consideration, extracurricular activities, accelerated courses (Honors, Advanced Placement, IB), and diversity. However, here is the statistics for the freshman class of 2005 (according to their website, and nothing on the GPA on it). However, the largest amount admitted is in the top 20% of class rank is at 69% of the freshman class of 2005. Over half the class had ACT scores of 26 or better.

Pretty much whatever you needed to graduate high school. Large universities like that have enough colleges in them that you'll be accepted through one of them no matter what. Example: up until a few years ago, the University of Cincinnati had what was called the University College, where they brought all the scholarship athletes in through. They had virtually open enrollment, in that all you needed was a high school diploma. I'm sure Ohio State has a similar program for the worst case scenario, not that you necessarily fall into that category, but just to reassure you with a "no worries".
