How many SHOULD a woman have in a 25 year period? And she or you have 3 failed marriages? Gosh, I think maybe you need to rethink this relationship. While I don't believe in holding information back in a relationship, I think that asking someone how many they have "HAD" can only lead to trouble. People are funny weird about this stuff. I would say if she or yourself had 3 failed marriages, that would definetely give me pause. What have you all learned? Anything besides how to get married in 3 states? But asking how many she SHOULD have, is well, unusal. I suggest sitting down and laying your cards on the table. If you are not comfortable with her history, please, end the relationship. I would not want to continue with a man who could not look past my mistakes enough to see who I am, althoughif I had that many of them, I guess I would want to know that something had been learned and I wasn't about to become the former spouse known as #4. Good luck!

As few or as many as they want and still feel good about themselves. Every one is different, in the old school ONE was the number, now days is seems it can be one a week. What type of reputation does a person want, but remember sex is not everything, some people are not happy with sex some are not happy without it some just dont know what they want. The main thing is every one is different, you just have to find the one that makes you happy or if your the type of person that needs two, three hay thats your call. No matter what you do someone out there is going to have a problemn with it. No one can say (or tell you how you feel) what is right or who is wrong

Should have! Well, legally, 5, or 1 for every 5 years!
Or 3. 1 for every 7 years; the remaining years of the 25 you mention, are still to go on the 4th partner in the residual 3 year period.
Golly! And here was I thinking that everyone knew that!!
Sash.

Obviously no right or wrong answer to this question and it has everything to do with how long you're with 1 person exclusively. But, for the sake of numbers, 2 partners a year would be fairly realistic(IF you're going from boyfriend to boyfriend, that is). By all means, people are capable of WAY more or way less, but I think that number is reasonable. So for 25 years worth of dating, 50+ partners should be about right.

what? Three badly failed marriages? you said "25 year period". I took that to mean a 25 year old, but now I re-read it and guess it's wrong. So I can't really answer the question by not knowing how old the person is, and what does the "failed" marriages have to do with it? Does that make her more sexually liberal or something?
Gosh I guess some people have random flings and sex with whoever, but I would hope anyone would just have sex with someone they love and care about... personally I save it for the latter

I think I've done pretty well. I am 41 and have had only four partners in my lifetime, one of which lasted five years, the next I was married to for 18 years, one was only six months because he had to take a job 2100 miles away and the one I have now I am going to marry next year. I think four will be it for me.
By the way: Never an STD. No unwanted pregnancies. No cheating. I have always been faithful 100%. Morality and monogamy have excellent benefits.

When you say partners do you mean husbands? Well two is acceptable, three is pushing it a bit and more is just marrying so that you can say I'm not free and easy, but it's a way of having loads of sex without the label. I think a woman should have as many men in her life as she pleases and sleep with as many as she wants. Men do it all the time.

That a strange question, how many would you like her to have? and How many have you had?
I think this woman must be around 40 if your asking this question and buddy you should be more worried about trust and love than how many partners she has had!
Do you mean you have had 3 bad marriages or she has?
Maybe she should be worrying about how long a relationship would last with you? Sounds like a bad track record.

In a 25 year period? I'd say at least 50. IMO partners should be changed once a week.
