I was glad Emmitt won. He always made me smile while he was dancing. He was entertaining. You could tell he was so nervous when they were getting ready to announce the winner and he was so happy when they said his name!! I started out a Mario fan, but in the end I think the compliments that Mario got went to his head. You could tell afterwards that he was aggravated and he was not running around laughing and hugging everybody like everyone else was doing. And there was a quote on People's website from Mario saying something to the effect of apparently "world class dancing" wasn't enough. So, now he's world class? Last night he said he was just an actor, now he's a world class dancer? Anyway..... I am glad Emmitt won!!

I feel it portrayed what the show was really all about! I mean Mario Lopez did have a familiarity with dance because it was in his back-round. The show is supposed to be about celebrities who have to learn all these dances never having truly danced them before! So for Emmit Smith to go out there as this huge football player, 10 years older than Mario and dance like that made the show a great success once again! I mean I love Mario don't get me wrong, but Emmit truly deserved it.

Emmitt should have won - Mario came onto the show with a dance background, so he was a 'ringer'

I would have been happy with either of them winning, they both deserved it. When Emmitt won I was very glad. My 4 year old daughter was sad though, she wanted Mario to win :)

I think it was fair and square. Emmitt didn't break the rules like Mario and his freestyle impressed me more then Mario's. Can anyone benchpressed their partner and lift up their partner with one hand and not drop her? I don't think so.

Emmitt won for popularity, Mario was the best dancer by far.

I never watch the show but I did find it odd that a football player won! I mean I never think of them as having "twinkle toes". But it kind of makes me glad he won!

Oh man, I was disappointed. I think Mario should have gotten it. In my opinion, the last 2 finalists should have been Mario and Joey Lawerence.
Mario is awesome!
