How does science explain ALL the other planet's in our solar system warming at the same rate? All of them that have weather systems are experiencing unusual 'freak' weather conditions.

We don't have SUV's driving on all those planets, so, does this not suggest that the sun is behind global warming? Therfore, there really is nothing we can do to stop it here, but we need to learn how to ADAPT to it instead? New taxes are therfore a total waste? no?
How will new taxes, or excessive recycling, cool down the sun?

Well the sun is getting hotter and will continue to do so until most of the hydrogen is converted to helium it will then expand to become a red giant.

However the effects of this will be minute compared to processes on the earth, IE its tilt, orbit, and mankind's carbon emissions and of cause the deforestation. It must be remembered that we are in an interglacial period and the earth has been a lot warmer than it currently is. The problem is that the increase in temperature is the largest in thousands of years. BUT, when the last ice age finished the temperature rise in approx 50 years was much higher than our rise in 200 years so it is all relative.

The "freak" weather conditions on other planets may well be perfectly normal for them, remember at best we have only had probes in regular orbits around the other planets for at best 20 years with the resolution capacity to take images that show them.

The biggest problem is that although in UK we have large taxes on fuel much bigger than any proposed tax by most over governments, there is no unified effort to get us off fossil fuels, if there was someway of getting me out of my 1.2 litre small car than fine, But whats the point when someone in an other country with a 4 litre car still pays less than me to go the same distance?

Yes, it's. Since the commencing of the economic revolution we've been liberating an growing quantity of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) into the surroundings. Although one of the CO2 is reabsorbed, over the years, the awareness of CO2 within the surroundings raises. CO2 is referred to as a greenhouse gasoline; which means it traps warmness that comes from daylight within the surroundings. The larger the CO2 awareness; the larger the usual worldwide temperature. The first time period used to explain this phenomenon was once Global Warming; which, even though it’s correct, is moderately of a misnomer. Climate Change is such a lot commonly used in these days seeing that it exceptional describes what is going on. Weather vs. Climate. There is a change among climate and local weather. Simply seeing that it rains within the wasteland, it doesn’t imply that it's now not a wasteland. That’s climate. Simply seeing that the Midwest stories a wintry weather hurricane doesn’t imply that worldwide warming doesn’t exist. The predominant factor to hold a watch on is the value of the elements parties. As the usual worldwide temperature raises, extra polar ice melts. This raises the quantity of water within the climate approach. The extra water that's within the climate approach, the extra extreme the elements turns into. Heat waves are fitting extra usual and each and every yr we appear to wreck extra top temp files. Hurricanes are growing in quantity and depth. Winter storms are lasting longer and are more and more extra extreme. One of the detrimental matters approximately worldwide warming is that ice isn't the one factor melting. Permafrost (completely frozen soil) may be commencing to thaw. Thawing permafrost releases significant quantity of methane. Methane is 30 occasions extra potent in trapping warmness within the surroundings than carbon dioxide. The liberating of methane into the surroundings will widely broaden the fee of worldwide warming. Global temperature has risen and fallen within the historical past of the earth and it's immediately correlated with the quantity of CO2 within the surroundings. The change among the beyond and in these days is that in these days CO2 and usual worldwide temperature is emerging at a far larger fee than has been visible in thousands of years. Also, the upward thrust in CO2 isn't being triggered by means of traditional parties (multiplied volcanic endeavor, and so on.), it's being purpose by means of burning tremendous quantities of fossil fuels. If temperatures maintain to upward thrust on the present velocity we will be able to quickly be residing in a far hotter and wetter global than we do in these days. The global won't finish, however it's going to be drastically special than it's in these days.

very VERY interesting...and very good sources too.

It seems like our whole solar system is heating up....maybe there are some unseen forces at work here...

either way, global warming on earth means an end to humans in the next 100 years or so

Hi. Climate change looks real, whatever the cause. Humans are adaptable and smart (for the most part). We should plan for what may be inevitable.
