the year would be 1983 the wedding took place in august 1983 im looking for august threw dec it should be in one of those papers

Your local library should have access to papers from that year online. You may have to type in your barcode from your card.

Also wedding announcements are paid advertisments, so sometimes the newspaper site makes these available for a small fee directly from the web. Look under the "archives" section of the paper's web site.

If all else fails, you can call the town hall and purchase a copy of the marriage license. Ask for the Vital Statistics office.

If you're in the same city as the paper i would suggest the local library, if they dont have it could probably direct you to it. Also try the paper that published it. I briefly worked for a paper that had every issue they had ever published stacked along a wall.

Your local library should have all of the newspapers.
I know ours does on like slide show type software we just used it over the summer for articles dating back in the late 30's and early 40's and we found them.

The best to places to try is the library or at the archives. Every town normally has one these.

the best answer i got for this question is call up your newspaper compiney and see if they got a copy of it that you can buy from them, of go to ebay.com and try to look the paper up.
