My girlfriend recently switched birth control. This wasn't a problem because we usually use condoms. So we hadn't had sex in a while and wound up doing it alot in on day. Basically I got off 5 times. The next day when we got together we let our hormones get the best of us and had sex without a condom. I know she could be pregnant but my sperm count should have been very low. What do you think the odds are shes pregnant?

Sperm count is not the issue - it is her fertility cycle. If she was in the middle of her cycle (10-17 days after the start of her last period) then she was at her highest fertility level.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to tell if she's pregnany any sooner that a few days before her next period. If you are concerned, buy a home pregnancy test (I recommend First Response Early Detection or Answer Early - they have been the most reliable in our situations) and test with first-morning urine. She should assume she is pregnant until she finds out otherwise (start of her period). Of course, blood tests are the most accurate, but also much more expensive.

Good luck to you both...

If she didn't leave a gap between the old birth control and the new one (i.e. she didn't skip a day) then you should be perfectly fine. If she had skipped a day or two, she still would not have ovulated, as hormonal birth control prevents a woman from ovulating, which she needs to do in order to get pregnant. If she skipped more than two days of birth control, she would have what's called a "hormonal period" which means that she never had the chance to get pregnant, but the uterus sheds it's lining anyway. I wouldn't worry about it, unless next month when she takes the placebo pill for a week she dosen't start her period.

There is always a chance that she could be pregnant. It only takes one time as they always say. But then again if it was low I don't know. But she switched the birth control which screws everything up so she definetly could be. I would say have her get a test in a few weeks and find out! Good Luck!

The odds could be very good. Take it from someone who had TWO birth control pregnancies. There is a reason doctor's tell women birth control is NOT 100% effective...that's because it is NOT. Yes in 99% of ALL women it works, but given the fact that there are BILLIONS of women on this planet that 1% it doesn't work on is a very LARGE number (billions itself). Of course pregnancy is only one of the "problems" you could have given her an STD or you could have contracted it from her if you weren't her first partner. You could have spread HIV and if either one of you have had more than one partner you could have passed along HPV which is spread by skin to skin contact and not bodily fluids so even a condom wouldn't help. I guess you'll find out which soon enough.

Sperm is produced everyday. Just because you get off 5 times in one day doesn't mean your sperm count is low the next day. That being said, don't freak yourself out until she's late and has a positive pregnancy test.

i won't belive the 1st answer. Im actual stunned "she could evaluate adoption to furnish her baby the terrific threat". extra like she could be inspired that she would be able to realize the terrific for her baby if she so needs. Sorry yet i heavily can't have faith Alicia reported that. ok now i'm over that, hopefuly there's a kinfolk making plans medical institution the place she would be able to communicate to somebody experienced in circumstances like this, they could clarify her recommendations and the technique of each. i might jus prefer to assert that a woman i understand grew to become into pregnant at 14 and via sixteen she now has 2 babies, lives on her own and seems after them the two and has back to college. I actual have found out im pregnant at 18 and that i'm terrified, yet as my sister knows this lady extra suitable than me she assures me if she would be able to do it i will do it, your buddy could think of an identical. I additionally had an abortion final 12 months, or maybe although i'm no longer likely to assert oh she shouldnt have a termination, i'm going to enable you to already know that it grew to become into the toughest component to pass with the aid of, distinctly on your individual (as with protecting the toddler you've help and help, no possible help you in case you have an abortion, in case you notice what I mean). yet i understand the way youthful she is and probable doesnt sense waiting for a baby, so she could communicate to the female (on the kinfolk making plans or such medical institution) approximately that too. If posssible identity motivate her to tell her mum or mothers and dads, i prefer my mum now and im 4 years older, you will possibly be a great buddy yet you cant be together with her 24/7. i'm hoping each little thing is going nicely, consistent with threat you are able to help her via making an appointment or calling to work out whilst the walk in medical institution is open. And Condoms to break, they burst, and this is the U. S. statutory rape isn't her significant project.

If you allows your friend to relax for 24 hours then you were back up to normal! I got pregnant and had sex everyday 3x a day so its not true! esp not if your young it doesn't apply to you. Usually men reach their sexual peak at 18! so if your that young then yea I would worry but if your in your 30's your sperm count probably was lower the next day

High or low sperm count doesn't make the difference. It only takes one strong swimmer to get it done. You are getting delusional and looking for the wild card that says she's not pregnant.
