When you let farts out in air there is more distance for the gas to dissipate in the air before reaching your nose. When you let it out underwater, the gas does not dissipate until it reaches the surface of the water, which is closer to your nose. Your fart would smell just as bad in air if you stuck your nose closer to your bottom.

As steam gathers in the shower, they float upwards slowly because of the enclosed area and poor ventilation, carrying the air and gases with them. At other times, when you fart, the gas dissipates behind you and can travel sideways (from the level of your butt). Some remnants may eventually bubble up to your nose, but by that time the concentration of the gas from you has been reduced significantly.

fart always stinks and your son asked it to you after a bath because the fart came to him after a bath or possibily it came after he was using a bath soap which fragnance was lost due to his farting. Then you can answer him that fart stink worse when he baths because the smell of the bath soap is dissolved in the fragnance of the fart that has come from his body.

I never had gas in the bath that had a smell, just bubbles. Maybe it has something to do with the steam from the water ..... stop feeding him so much broccoli and spinach, eh?

I went by way of this with my son and daughter the two. i found out that i became putting too plenty rigidity on them. you may think of "he's familiar with greater proper" yet he's barely 2, and he does not have the assumption technique to "do it on purpose". Being lectured and scolded may be what's making him regress, and regression is an illustration of emotional disillusioned in little ones. additionally you stated you have been 9 months pregnant, so he may be feeling aggravating over a sparkling infant coming. Regression is a completely widespread emotional reaction in youngsters, and it sounds like that's what may be going on. What I did became subsidized off some, stopped putting plenty rigidity on them to accomplish to what have been finally MY standards, no longer theirs. I rewarded the heck out of them while they went in the potty, made an excellent to-do over it, praising with hugs and kisses and a small reward (some M&M's or a dum dum sucker). while they did no longer fairly make it, I only suggested "we are meant to do this in the potty, no longer our pants, mattress, etc" and then wiped sparkling it up without fuss or punishment. It labored...only decrease him slightly slack, he won't be waiting. I understand your frustration, being pregnant and all, yet you may nicely be pushing him too no longer worry-free. I too am a spanking ascertain, yet i attempt to order that for terribly severe offenses, and that i'm afraid in case you initiate off spanking him for no longer likely in the potty you will finally end up doing greater injury than stable. I choose you the better of success!
