Ok so the LOML ( love of my life) is leaving in January shes going away for school. The school is about an hour and a half from where I live. I just want some general ideas on how we can maintain our relationship. I plan to talk to her this afternoon about the situation so any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks Answers!

Make sure you both want to continue the relationship at the same level of committment. Then set up a plan so that you can visit one another. An hour and a half is not too far away, so you could see each other once or twice a month (I would think). Get web cams and keep in contact that way. Realize that things will change a bit because you are apart and that is a normal part of any relationship.

Bmore is not far from DC so traveling back and forth on weekends is an idea. Maybe she can meet you half way even. Try to set up specific days you all will meet up like for example yall can meet up 4 times a month and have little special outing's. Now that you all will be miles and miles away you guys will have to work even harder to keep that spark alive but true love has no exits Good Luck

Ask her what she thinks first off, now if she is the love of your life it wont be hard and its only an hour and a half its not that hard. Try having them 5 1/2 hours away (like mine is) or further its hard but you can mannage you can see her on weekends and whatnot but you also are going to have to give her space and you don't want to seem concerned that her going away is going to end your relationship you just have to see how she is feeling and tell her how your feeling, and the web cam and phone sex idea isn't a bad one I hope everything works out ok.

Do you own a map? Baltimore is only 1 hour away from you. If you can't make the commute then you don't need to be with her. You act like she is moving across the country or something. Grow up or you will lose her for being stupid. Good luck.

Phone contact, e-mails, and maybe weekend visits. Send her e-cards, once in a while...leave her loving messages on her voice mail, you'll just have to work a little harder at the same things that hopefully you did while you two were in closer range. But it can work!!!
