Its better to show it to her, so that she will be more willing to help you. Plus, if she finds out the hard way(teacher, friends, finiding the report hidden somewhere), you would be in way more trouble because you basically lied to her.

I assume a 61 is not a great grade based on 100%. But, I have had bad grades before on my progress report, and it is always best if you show your mother the progress report now rather than later. If you show it to her later, you will lose her respect and trust for you because you hid it. If you show her now, she might still be a little dissapointed, but proud you showed it to her. Anyway, it's just a progress report, remember that! I once had an F in a class and for my final grade at the end of the year I got a B+!

Yes, because it's better now than later. Plus, a "progress report" is exactly that. It indicates your progress AND allows you time to bring the grade up before the end of the term. When you bring the grade up, she will be very happy and proud of you. Good luck!!

Yes. Why don't you want to show it to her? Are you ashamed you didn't do the work? Are you afraid of the consequences? Are you a habitual liar and cover things up? Show it to her and take your punishment and prove to her you are maturing.

she needs to know... she can't get you more help if she doesn't... and, most likely, she's gonna find out in the end... usually worse then... with out help/tutoring... you could go from maybe failing to definately failing a class... of course, if she's gonna beat you with a switch, you may want to think otherwise...
