i watch a lot of tv.almost everything english comes from america-music,movies,soaps.and from what i can make out america is a really great place-opportunities,freedom,diversity.is this true?

America was a great place. It is still really good in spite of its faults, but it is rapidly becoming a third world nation.

There has been a global leveling going on for quite sometime. The people of America are steadily being brought to the level of a third world country by the wealthiest (read politicians) as a step towards a one world government.
Don't believe it? Ask your congressman why Cheney's company just got a government contract to build 800 MORE concentration/elimination facilities IN THE US? For what - for the ones that will rebel when they can't keep what they are doing a secret anymore?

America's terrific.
We have our problems, like everyone else, but you have freedom to succeed here. Many of our wealthiest citizens immigrated here from other countries with very little money.
One thing, though. Our celebrities are a strange breed. Please don't judge the rest of us by their behavior.
