At nearly 4 quid a month (each) Stuff and T3 (gadget) magazines just repeat the same old crap as the previous issue. I buy Stuff everytime I need to do a long journey, and they palm you off with stuff they already reported on previously. T3 infact published a copy about just after last xmas that showed a RED PSP!!! It was the onyl reason why I bought it, to find that there wasn't a mention of a red PSP anywhere inside!! I'm thinking of imposing sanctions, and depriving them of my hard earned cash!!!

What do you think?

I think you should go with your last idea, stop giving them your money

These magazines pull off a very clever trick - of publishing what are basically glossy adverts for gadgets, and getting mug punters to pay to read them (or possibly to look at the scantily-clad girls holding them).

If they don't give good value to you, don't buy them. If you find that rain makes you wet, and you don't like that, take an umbrella when you go out. And if you drop something, trying looking for it on the ground nearby....

You have the choice NOT to buy it but if they are falsely advertising and it may be that anything on the front of a magazine is classed as advertisement, then you can report them.

Do yourself a favour and buy a decent book to read on the long journeys.

Personally I really enjoy Maxim. I'm a girl so it's not as such aimed at me but I think it's excellent and it does have it's fair share of reviews/gizmo's etc. Plus you get nice girls to look at (all I get there is the not quite so buff Maxim staff to look at...)

Try it, it really is better than just a lad mag.

I need not read further. Look at the names of the mag in question..."Stuff" and "T3". I mean don't judge a book by its cover, but come on...these aren't quality circulars.

If you think they are a rip off. WHAT THE HELL DO YOU BUY THEM FOR. Vote with your feet and don't buy them if you feel that way. You have a choice remember.
