I'm new to the Ellen Denegere's show (although I am familiar with Ellen Denegres the actor). I was like - wow, this audience is wild! Exhilaration, hands in the air, booty shaking etc.
Sub-questions: Where or how does Ellen get such as wild audience? Surely it can't just be the free gifts, right?
The audience is also ecstatic about hip-hop music. Is this a good indication of the music taste of the average American? Or is it just (mainly) the girls who like hip-hop?
And what about Kanye West? Not my cup of tea, though I do think his use of Chaka Khan's Through The Fire (previous album) was amusingly entertaining. But his new stuff - and his live acts, I just don't get. Nice-looking classical live band, but they’re so unmusical and Kanye’s live rapping/ singing is so average. Yet Ellen's audience loves him! Could somebody explain Kanye's appeal to me?
(Note: F.y.i., I do like Ellen, though maybe not some of her music).

Kanye West appeal just my be his personality and looks. Kanye is from chicago like me but he stuck up........his music is great but i dont see what people see in him

i think most "normal" women are that wild, they just don't express it because of the atmosphere of the show. look at those women on oprah, those women are absolute madwomen!!! they're wild as hell. and people love celebs, you could put any celeb on stage and they'll love them.

THEY KNOW THEY ARE ON CAMERA AND ANYONE WHO DOES NOT BLEND GETS POINTED OUT REALLY WELL
AND SHE HAS ARTIST FROM EVERY BACK GROUND IT IS JUST ABOUT WHATS NEW
