I would like to point out I myself am very open with her all the time of dangers on the internet and life ect I totaly respect her privicy it was by chance I came across her email and questions I gave her permision to use yahoo as I didnt see much harm in it and use it myself but I gave her boundreys no email ect I found she has three email address now why I wonder ? Iknow I have to talk with her today and I thank you all for your resent answers

its ok as long as she don't talk to weirdos i'm 13 with an email address my dad keeps a check on it regularly. maybe you should do that buti think you should narrow it down to 1 email address hope i could help.

If you have done a good job raising your daughter you can trust her decision about having emails. I am not much older and I have a few email addresses. That's normal it doesn't mean she is up to no good. Boundaries are good but remember your own boundaries and respect your daughter for the girl you have raised and love. She will only be more sneaky and secretive if you pry too deeply into her private life. You got to remember in a few years she is an adult and she is just playing grown ups at the moment. If you don't give her too much time alone it might be better. Try having a few special days together and do some activities that she likes. Soon she will be off to college and might even go interstate travelling so just enjoy your time together now.

once again, your smothering her... its good to care for your children, but sometimes the harder you hold them, the harder they try to break free.
If you had an 'agreement' as such (which ytou didn't mention) i have no problems you banning her if she broke it... but dont be too much of a grinch.
She has the free will to smoke at 16 if she choses, bet you'd go ape if she did though.
