Yes, I have been too several places that felt that way but there are two in particular that stand out in my mind. One place was one of the islands near Tofino, B.C. and the other was near West Lake in Prince Edward County, Onatrio. I found out later on that the place in Ontario used to have this huge tree there that was often a meeting place for native tribes.
There are alot of places that are comfortable. If you notice your cat or dog always lays in one particular place (other than your lap or at your feet) chances are it's a good energy spot.
There are many books on the subject. I would love to travelt to that greek island you speak of :)

Yes, there are many such places in Ireland, one of the strongest is the ancient stone circle just beside Blarney castle in Cork, where I got the feeling confirmed by somebody else for the first time.
If you go to Notre Dame in Paris when there are not many people around, you get it, too.
I only wonder whether a place is holy because of the energy put in by people over the centuries, or whether it was the reason for becoming a place of worship to begin with.

Yes I feel the energy of the Florida Keys and south Florida. Also I feel the energy of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. All are along ley lines and all have thin veils between this dimension and the others.
The Bermuda Triangle extends into Miami and the Keys.

There are places like that almost everywhere. Well, everywhere not in most cities. Some are ancient worship sites, most are what is called lay lines, or Dragon lines/dragon veins in the orient. the more powerful are where these line meet, called nexus points. Many ancient sacred grounds were supposed to be set up on these points.

There is a place in Baja California Norte called El Salto, (the leap) that is in a regional eco-park. When its rains, which is seldom, the three story high rock face becomes a water fall. I think it is over a vortex to the netherworld. Very magical.
