What is art? That question has stumped hundreds of people over the decades. Who gets to decided what is art? Normally art is a visable representation of someone's imagination and creativity. It can be anything, from some sheets of paper folded together to a masterpiece painted in watercolor. If I had to give a definition of what art is I would say that art is anything tangible...anything that can be seen that evokes some kind of emotion from a person. When you look at a picture you might just see lines and think it was a waste of time to look at it...but it is still evoking emotion from you. You are angry or upset that you wasted time. That is an emotion. I don't think any one person should ever be allowed to tell what is art and what isn't. Because everyone will feel different things when looking at something.

art can be classified as visual and performing arts.. where visual arts describe such as painting or sculpture that are perceived by sight and performing arts is the forms of art that involve theatrical performance, especially drama, dance, and music
