No, but the teenagers who submit these things, thinking they're funny, are.
The good news is that once they hit college or the workforce, reality will beat them mercilessly about the head, watch and wallet, bringing them to their senses.

There are three answers for this. The first is, yes, the general population apparently didn't spend enough time in their grammar and spelling classes, and cannot seem to use a spell check. The second, is that many people on this list are not English speaking, or at least its not their first language. Frankly some things just don't translate. And third, (and it took me a while to figure this out), some of the people are text messaging from their phones. As my daughters tell me, there is a whole language developed by necessity when text messaging. Apparently spelling and grammar aren't necessary for communication in this form.

yeah! It's amazing, isn't it!!! I understand when the person is from another country...( I'm wondering how I'd do if I tried to ask or answer in another language!;~)
BUT...if they are English speaking, that is another story! Then they are very illiterate, and our schools or their parents are really failing them. Seems hardly anyone cares about the spelling and grammar. I struggle to find out what they're actually asking sometimes! Are they just being "cool"???
The content of some of the questions ( and some answers) is unbelievable. I don't mind the humorous ones, as some are really funny, and I enjoy a "lighter' mood at times...and we all need a chuckle sometimes..
BUT...there are some that are really stupid, and gross! Brings the human race down to a new low! It also creates a negative image for the American people. Are there no high "values" that we should strive to attain???
Great question! I wonder about these things on here, too...

Yes. The majority of the population are only barely erudite enough to spell their own names most of the time. It's depressing isn't it?
While we're discussing the topic, the word is spelled sarcastic not sarchastic...

Lighten up. This is not an academic setting or a Fortune 100 think-tank. It is a forum for many types of people. Quit being horrified and realize that many people have learning disabilities, but still put forth their best effort to participate. Certainly there are offensive questions: look at them as an opportunity to offer a different perspective.

contained in the united statesA. and Canada human beings are transforming into to the element that, as one man or woman placed it, "They take exhilaration in what they do no longer recognize." there's a action picture i think is observed as the "The Age of stupid", no longer the environmental one, that is going right into a brilliant sort of element as to why that's. maximum all of us is very mentally lazy and a brilliant sort of this has to do with the educational equipment and oldsters no longer related to themselves. Ever be conscious in some cultures how intelligence in toddlers is looked down upon by their friends? additionally, there is the organic and organic threat that with the aid of fact the fewer clever breed at greater fees they're bringing down the final intelligence of the inhabitants. See the action picture "Idiocracy" for that one. upload contained in the ideologies egalitarianism and political correctness and a brilliant sort of of the brightest are prevented from excelling.

Just to point something out .... making a post to ridicule others grammar and spelling, when making very blatant mistakes of your own, doesn't make you look any better than the rest.
People make mistakes ... as you just did. Sarcasm has no h, by the way.
So, going by your own logic posed in the above question .... are you part of the general public that is really that stupid?

I don't know if they are stupid or just in a big hurry.
My opinion is that people are not stupid, they have gotten used to taking the easy way out, therefore they appear as stupid.
Hope this helps.
