At the moment I have 750MB free space on the D Drive and 32.5GB free space on the C Drive. But since I installed the Sims 2 and one expansion pack, my Computer runs sooooo slow. I mean I have a lot of free space left and most of the time the game is off....it's not that the game is constantly running or using the space...so why is my computer so slow now????
Can i fix this problem somehow? What do I need to get, to make it run faster? Is it more Ram?

If you can uninstall the game , and restore your computer ( using a restore point ) , I think your computer won't stay soooooo slow , but if you don't want to remove the game , press ctrl+alt+delete > processes > arrange the processes by Memory usage , if a process is using more than IE , SVCHOST.EXE , and EXPLORER.EXE , ( more than 34,000 MB ) and it seems to be for this game , end it ....
That will not fix the problem , but at least you will know what causes it ..

Sorry I can't be of help. I wanted to answer this question to have the solutions saved in my account profile. I'm barely 'computer literate'. Thank you for your understanding.

EDIT* - I did what I could and gave you a 'thumbs up'. SMILE.

Perhaps that game is loaded from the startup to the machine.
u need to disable it's loading at startup.
Install system mechanic pro and clean junk files. and also go to 'manage windows startup' and find any entry with the games name, disable it and u r done.

u probably have too many things downloaded onto your computer. like for me i had limewire and morpheus on my computer, but even though i had a ton of space it ran too slow. so my advice is to get rid of the unneeded programs. this worked for me, so it might work for u.
