Assuming you are refering to conflicts that are universally referred to by Americans as wars, the answer is 7 1/2.
War against the Barbary Pirates - Thomas Jefferson*
War of 1812 - James Madison*
Mexican American War - James Polk
World War I - Woodrow Wilson
World War II - Franklin Roosevelt
Korean War - Harry Truman
Vietnam - Lyndon Johnson
The 1/2 comes from Jefferson Davis the Presdient of the Confederate States during the Civil War who was a Democrat. Since the South triggered the war by firing on Ft. Sumnter it can be said that he was responsible for declaring war.
*Jefferson and Madison were actually members of the Democratic Republican party but that party is generally regarding as the forerunner of the modern Democratic party.

Well, strictly speaking, the answer to your question is "none." The U.S. Constitution vests the power to declare war in Congress, not the President (see Article I, Section 8). The President has the powers to wage war, subject to various Congressional checks on that power (the powers of the purse and the War Powers act, most notably).
I realize that I'm being a pedant here, but it looks like the others have done a pretty good job of furnishing you with the info that you were after. Hopefully I have also contributed to your body of knowledge usefully.

Kennedy never actually declared war. There was much more of an escalation under Johnson, using the Gulf of Tonkin resolution. Are you trying to disprove Bob Dole's infamous claim that all the 20th century wars were 'Democrat wars'?

because Obama doesn't like that FOX information tells the reality. he is going to instruct our us of a right into a "Chavez us of a" the position he can regulate what individuals watch on television and browse on the internet. I consider you we are very very screwed. people favor to do their personal study on the Obama administration and understand what's rather happening. i imagine he is going to unmarried handedly be the worst President we are able to make sure in our lifetime. If he doesn't like FOX information then he could replace the channel and give up crying over each and every little ingredient.
