Get a job at a local company in the case of Singapore. Once you are hired they will arrange to obtain the work permit/employment pass for you. Look at some of the online job sites for a start.

Log on to Malaysian, Singaporean jobsites and apply for jobs. If you get a job there just go to the embassy with a copy of the letter which says that the employer expresses interest in hiring you and get a work permit visa issued.

only thing you have to do is get a visa the company you want to work for has to arrange for a workpermit themselves take notice this will only happen if they like your work

Work Permits are done by employer and NOT you.
So, don't worry about it.
Just get one employer who want to hire you, and it's his responsibility to appy work permit with the government for you.
