I'm sorry, i seem to have stumbled in to Yahoo boys and their toys.
Grow up and ask a sensible question like "how many calories in a shot of sperm", that hasn't been asked for at least a week.
Or "why do Kamikaze pilots wear helmets" i don't think that ones ever been resolved.
But to answer your question your missus tells me saucepans work the best. Tefal really do last a lifetime.

Bow and arrow? Good luck walking around with that. My Walther ppk is easily hidden and by the time you could deploy your bow and fletch an arrow the gun would have fired at least 3 times. Longer range you might have an advandage tho. If no guns, I would go with a dagger and sword.

With Patriot Self Defense you will find out that is much simpler you then expected to guard your self since you don't need to be a specialist or have energy, you only have to learn how to do specific actions, easy techniques but deathly.

Seriously, if you're looking for a handgun, consider a double action .38 cal. revolver with a 4 inch barrel.
Pros = medium range accuracy, weight, power, speed. Easy to find ammo, easy to use, no slidebite like with an automatic.
Good all-around choice for a beginner.
Cons = many double action models have no safety, if it's loaded
it's the best friend of whoever is holding it at the time.

The people that are going to do harm with guns are ganna get them illegally anyway. Very seldom in crimes are they registered . I see nothing wrong with having them in your homes for hunting or protection. The kinds of guns now thats a different story. No one need a semi assault rifle, machine guns or etc.. Those types of guns are unnecessary for any kind of home use.

Arrows are for injuns. I'd like a sawn-off Swiss army knife, with lots of attachments, like an en-suite and swimming-pool for instance. Apart from that, a speed gun to hold-up the traffic and make a sh!t load of cash.

For home defense I have a 9 mm fully loaded with soft hollow points. I keep it handy, especially at night. I also have a dog in the house...only place to have a dog. I f I was expecting trouble though, I would load my 44 mag. revolver......that'll stop a rhino.

I think attitude is the best weapon for self protection. You don't need to have a macho attitude, just one of confidence and a little courage.
