I want to work in France or Spain next Summer but don't know what companies are the best to look for work with. I'd love to work as a courier or rep at a hotel or camping resort. Has anyone here worked abroad before? What companies should I try? I'm 18.

If you are in the UK, try asking the British Council because I believe they are keen to have UK workers in all sorts of cultural/vocational/work schemes abroad. What about contacting UK based forgien (scuse spelling) country work agencies--make sure they're not dodgey ones though!

Why don't you come to Tokyo, Japan. Anybody from the UK can be an English teacher here in Japan. You don't need a degree or experience. All they require is that you are a native speaker of English.
Salary is about 15-20 pounds a hour. If you just speak English you earn 5 pounds. If you can explain grammar or have got a private student, you will earn 25-30 pounds per hour.
You can apply for the working holiday programme between the UK and Japann.

Get some books from the library about working abroad. They are very useful and give you address of organisations and companies you could write to.You could also write to the big tourist companys asking how you could train to be a rep.Another area is to search through magazines at your local newsagent.

My sister did this a few years ago. She just went and started to look when she got there. She worked in several restaurants and bars over the course of the season.
