Eragon is a novel written by Christopher Paolini, and is the first book of the Inheritance trilogy. The main character is Eragon who is a smart and resourceful fifteen year old. He is named after the first dragon Rider. Along his quest he becomes an official member of the Varden (rebels), an adopted dwarf, slayer of Durza, and a Dragon Rider.
Eragon is a video game to be released for the PlayStation 2, Gamecube, Xbox, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows(PC), as well as the Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and PSP handheld gaming systems. The game is based upon the book Eragon, by Christopher Paolini, and the upcoming Eragon film.
Eragon is a fantasy/adventure movie based on the novel of the same name, by author Christopher Paolini. It is scheduled to be released on December 15 2006 by 20th Century Fox.
