I personally think wwe is much the better show and there many reasons why this is.
1-having 99% of the best wrestlers on their roster.I feel only Christian,Kurt Angle and AJ Styles have it for T.N.A.
2-WWE owning copyright after copyright to wrestlers names and moves and the actual matches. This results in wrestlers having to change their gimmics and names and end up calling themselves Kip James. Also instead of a over the top battle royal you end up with starting on the floor and trying to get over the ropes into the ring all because wwe owns the battle royal.
3-TNA copying WWE ,WWE doesnt copy TNA. whats that about the saying immitation is the biggest sign of flattery .
4- TNA a place for old washed up stars, that couldnt make it or get over in wwe. ex Billy Gunn,Raven,Rhyno, spike dudley, chrisy hemme, the list goes on and on.
5-Power and money as long as the wwe has this TNA will always be a 1 hour a week show going nowhere very fast.
6-Jeff Jarret. and some think Tripple H is power mad and wont put over talent.Who would yu rather have as champion.
7-The x division and the reason for this is simple. This division is the highlight of tna and the likes of aj styles, chris daniels and pety williams make the company what it is.But how long can these and many others keep puting their bodies on the line like they do.Not for much longer. As the bar keeps getting raised there is going to be further to fall and wrestlers will fall. Then without the x division there will be nothing left.

I watch TNA sometimes but I prefer WWE cos I've being watching it for a long time. I like watching wrestling for fun and WWE is more entertaining than TNA.
WWE has many different styles of wrestling and personalities whereas in TNA everyone in the X-division fights with the same style or has the same personality and the other wrestlers are just washed-up WWE wrestlers.
WWE is also more dominate cos it is so huge it has three brands.
WWE also has a big ego and create an exciting feeling which makes you want to watch the show. Bound for Glory is nowhere as close as Wrestlemania.
TNA promos and storylines are poor compared to those of WWE
WWE has had, have and will always have better wrestlers than TNA.

At the minute I would have to say TNA. What WWE are really lacking at the minute is a guy like 'Stone Cold' or 'The Rock'. They need someone with a bit of charisma. This has been sorely lacking since Eddie Guererro died last year. Apart from Batista and the returning Jeff Hardy (I still do not know why they have not teamed him up with Matt again), they need charisma. They also need a good face/heel battle like Austin/McMahon and The Rock/Triple H. John Cena and Edge was a bore after a while. Bringing back DX was a good idea though!

TNA are really becoming the real deal, probably in the same way as WCW did with old WWE superstars, and the added value of the indie guys also. They have some of the top talent at the minute, AJ Styles, Samoa Joe, Chris Daniels and of course Sting. Whats not to love?

It's the WWE far and away. TNA is ok but the most of their roster has WWE cast-offs - Christian/Rhyno/Dudleyz/James Gang/Brother Runt/ Raven. Not to mention the girls - Christy/Gail/Jackie/Nidia. With TNa it's always gonna be Jarrett or Sting for the belt with the others fighting for scraps. Entertaining, sure. Predictable? Definetly.
And of course, i forgot Kurt Angle who got himself fired from WWe and is now lucky enough to get in TNA. That's part of the downside of TNA - they always pick up the rejects and won't develop their own - Styles/Daniels/Abyss excepted.

I do not prefer any "Sports Entertainment" promotion. I prefer a "Professional Wrestling" promotion.

I was a huge fan of the WWF back when it was still in the pro wrestling business, but since around 2001 when they turned into the variety show (sports entertainment) business, I have no time for them. If I want to watch women in bra & panties, I'll rent a porno.

TNA is a good promotion, but not great. They've relied far too heavily on big names who aren't big on talent (Nash, Konnan) or charisma (Jarrett, Zbytzsko). In recent months, they've improved with the addition of Angle (and the subsequent feud with Joe), the departure of Monty Brown (overrated in the ring and on the mic), and the focus placed on younger, more talented performers, such as Homicide, Jay Lethal, Low Ki (Senshi) and Austin Aries (Starr).

For my money, ROH still gives you the best bang for your buck. Their champion is arguably the greatest technical wrestler the business has seen since Bret Hart (Bryan Danielson), and they have an incredibly deep and diverse roster, including the best of TNA (Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Homicide, Austin Aries), big names that can still work (Steve Corino), top indy talent (Delirious, Roderick Strong, Nigel McGuinness, among MANY others) and have had great success with talent from Japan (Kenta Kobashi, KENTA, Marifuji, Blood Generation, Do Fixer).

Add to the mix the number of wrestlers that have gone on to the "Big Two" from ROH (names like CM Punk, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, AJ Styles, Alex Shelley, James Gibson, Jimmy Yang, and the recently signed Claudio Castignolli), and you'll see why I say that Ring Of Honor (ROH) is the greatest pro wrestling promotion in existance today, and the best indy alternative to mainstream wrestling since the original ECW (as compared to the embarassment that WWEcw is today)

My "Top 5" American Pro Wrestling companies would be:

1. Ring Of Honor
2. Total Nonstop Action
3. Chikara
4. Jersey All Pro Wrestling
5. World Wrestling Entertainment

WWE because I prefer the superstars/divas and matches like Hell In A Cell and my favorite TLC.

I however do like TNA and espically the match when they have the X title hanging above the X rope and they jump and pull each other off the rope.

WWE by far. Not only is it a sentimental choice because I've been watching it since I was a kid, but because the wrestlers are by far better athletes and the acting is at least better than in TNA.
