Yes. The maximum is November 17, but this year there is a predicted second peak activity November 19. These meteors can be seen from anywhere on Earth but you need to look after the constellation of Leo has risen, which means after midnight or so. Before that, most if not all the meteors will be over the horizon and not visible. The higher in the sky Leo gets, the more meteors you should see, so the best time is just before morning twilight starts, say about 5:00AM Saturday morning, November 18.

Yes you will be able to see the Leonid shower, if the weather cooperates. The peak is predicted to be on November 19, at 1:28 a. m. CST for Kansas. Predictions are for 30 to 100 per hour. The site below gives more detail.
