I had this very same dilemma just a few weeks ago.

One of my hens had hidden in the (Australian) bush so that I couldn't collect her eggs. By the time I found her, she had been sitting on 15 eggs for over a fortnight! God only knows how she didn't get eaten by a fox!

Anyways, I now have a dozen happy, healthy, baby chicks of all different colours! Only 3 didn't hatch and were not fertile.

The hardest part isn't going to be naming them, but remembering all their names! lol

putting 12 eggs in a cirrcular shape having radius of at 6 inches means hen has to spread his *** for 12 inches for covering all eggs.
so what i will do i will remove 10 eggs so that she dont have to speard her *** alot so that cock will give me appriciation and blessing for makeing next 12 eggs.

I'd leave them and let them hatch - after all, at least one of them has been sitting under a warm hen for 12 days!!!

I would chloroform the chicken and use the eggs to terrorise pigs.
