Best way to do it - a hot (bubble) bath. Works for all.

I use lots of techniques to de-stress they are:

Locking myself in the bathroom with a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door and taking a long luxurious bath including a pedicure and manicure the whole works.

Walking or working the anger out. If someone really gets under my skin and makes me feel angry then I will walk till I am not angry anymore or do a job that I have been putting off like cleaning a room or the yard and I work really hard until the job is done. The sense of satisfaction at having done a good job overrides the anger every time.

Writing it all out. I do this by hand. The sense of release when writing by hand is much stronger than when typing into a computer.

crying. I sit and let myself cry it all out.

I am not exactly sure what you mean when you say destress. I think there is overall a general application of the people's life energy that produces stress is in various areas because the ability to budget resources and their distribution is never a perfect system. So if you can learn to see the areas where your resources will be less efficiently applied then perhaps staying on top of the information required for correct and efficient application of your resources will help to eliminate some of the stress. Microsoft OneNote 2007 demo is what you can search for on Google and with that software be more enabled to search the Internet and gather information related to managing your resources. There is quite a bit of information on my personal page, which is linked on my profile, to which you can find some resources for instance. There is a distance education course from Kevala which teaches professional stress management.

I usually go home, get into something comfy, do some yoga stretches, get a cup of 'low calorie' hot chocolate, make some toast and sit down to read a good book.

If I'm really annoyed and in a bad mood I'll have a sleep and ignore everyone. I'll also play either quiet music or thrash metal depending on my mood. If it's an angry mood - out comes the thrash. If it's a sort of sad mood - I'll play quiet music. If it's angry - I'll probably work out to that music until my energy is spent.

Lots of things work for varying levels of mood.

1, realise that rotten weeks are common for anybody and they keep coming every now and then. This realisation takes steam off the stressing events.
2. meditate
3. do things that give you pleasure - like painting, music, shopping ... anything.
4. cook something for family or friends and habve food.
5. watch comedy videos

Do something you enjoy to do. Also, breathing and meditation works very well. Another thing is try to take out your aggression playing some sports.
