Well technically it's the same except when someone describes sex, it's just purely physical and can be with or without emotions involved, whereas making love is sex with not just the body but your whole being and soul as well.

Yes, there is a difference between having sex and making love.

Sex doesn't have any emotional involvement. There is no intention to carry the physical joining into a commitment. The goal with sex is just to have sex.

Making love does involve an emotional factor. Making love has as it's goal the desire to be one with the other person, to show and receive the outpouring of love from the other's heart. There is usually a desire to have a whole relationship with the other, not just a sexual collision.

Sex is like animals rutting.

Making love is saying I will be here for you when the sex is over.

It is the feelings that are involved when making love. Having a deeper feeling and concern for the other person's emotional and physical needs increases the closeness of the experience. Sex with just anyone whom you don't have that sort of connection is just going through the motions and you would be just using that person as a vessel for you to unload. The difference in making love is the commitment and satisfaction of knowing that what you are sharing with that person; you aren't sharing with just anyone.

It's all about your feelings towards the person you're doing it with. It's your sentiments and perceptions that make the difference. Having sex with someone you care for deeply is always going to be different than a one-night-stand, because of the emotional ties that are involved.

big difference. Having sex-just what it says. Making love-not only you have feelings for that person, but the act of doing it is different too. If you're just having sex, you won't worry about satisfying the person you having sex with, you won't go on kissing, caressing and doing special things that you know that person likes.

Having sex is purely the act. Making love is when you connect with your partner emotionally, spiritually and sexually. There is a heightened sense of everything you do, the love trust and general feeling is so different.

Yes, I believe there is a big difference between making love with someone and having sex (or any of the other names people use to describe just sex -- scr3wing, f*cking, banging, getting laid, etc...)

What's the difference? Emotional bonding.

Making love is feels more intimate it soft and gentle it a time of exchanging souls where as sex is rampant and fast no so intense. Making love you have to take your clothes off having sex you can keep them on and you can also do it any where.

I feel that if i wanted to "have sex" I could do that with just about anyone (not meaning to sound concieted, just go with it)
But it's not sex I want....making love is the physical union of two people who love eachother......it's better when it's with someone you love.
