Metaphysics states that what exists in the mind may also exist in the physical world, numbers are a good example, when we think of numbers, we know that they exist in the higher plane of understanding but also we know that numbers are being manifested in the physical world, considering the many physical applications we have come up with the use of numbers. Therefore numbers exist in the physical world because we think they exist and we see manifestations of their existence.

Angels, if we think they exist, they exist in the physical world, indeed. Angels exist if we think God exists. Angels like God is pure energy or greater than that, they are made of a spirit, and they are not bound by physical constraints therefore they are neither aerodynamic or aerodynamic. If we assume they are pure energy, or light manifested as such or any other physical phenomena because I think there are greater manifestations of energy than light or heat,or other forms not yet known, or discovered, then considering the physical world of atoms, they will traverse atom by atom or particle by particle which for the lay man assume sthe illusion of flying. When one flies, like a bird, the old man has attributed wings to the angel because he flies like the bird.
