I know Micheal Jackson was cleared of child abuse but i think even the most open minded people are suspicious either way the man is clearly suffering from a serious mental illness, why on earth is he being given awards?? its embarrassing.

First of all Michael Jackson is not a pedophile!! Second the reason he is getting awards is because he is the best singer, dancer and performer EVER!! It would be embarrassing if they didn't give him the awards that he is due just because of a couple of gold digger's false accusations!!

Excuse me but he is and will be always the greatest Entertainer on this earth. He earn much more respect than the people giving him, you guys are not thinking a bit of human rights. And even if michael would be mental illness it doesn't have anything to do we beiing such a genie, it has something to do with the journalist which don't have and rules and morals anymore and people like you which believe the crap about him. You do not need to love or accept him, but before you are such an immoral person like the journalist just be quit and think your part...
and comments like he paid the boy money but when you get abused the only thing is you want to see this person in prison. His family just wanted and got the money..

why are you contradicting yourself? didn't you just state he was cleared? who are you to say he did it? what facts do you have? was you there? so what people got on the stand and testified, and people don't lie? **** we live in America, the land of lies and betrayal... all of you are so closed minded, you just listen to what others say of him and go along with the bandwagon, do something for me, get your own mind frame. Im indifferent on the situation, I would agree something is mentally wrong with him, but to say he is a peodophile is going to far because I have no evidence to suggest such thing. No, Peodophiles, the ones that were convicted by a court, are not getting awards, I haven't seen it. And MJ is still musically talented, and the best of all time in case you forgot... what happen to factual information? what happen to real, important news?

I think that Micheal Jackson belongs to an age long forgotten He is still being remembered for the Musical genius he was & a lot of folks were reluctant to see him go to jail when he was bein prosecuted.
Yeah i understand he was not found guilty but getting an award? Its taking it a bit far.
Perhaphs they felt sorry for him. Any1 that's sick enuff to descent to kids for gratification deverves pity...and prayers. But an award? Now That's taking it a lil' far.

Either he wants his career back on track or he wants to be talked about - maybe he thinks he's not been in the spotlight for too long. I can't see any other reason.
Just 'cos he was cleared of child abuse doesn't mean he's not a paedophile. The jury couldn't find him guilty, can you imagine that happening?

most of the jury in the Micheal Jackson said after the case he was guilty has sin.and now they are giving him awards.he should have been bang up.with real criminals in parkhurst.and get a real award. that he deserves.

Who knows but the same goes for R Kelly hes slept with tons of under age girls and did it on tape and he's not in jail. Just goes to show that if your famous you can do anything you want and get away with it.

look at r. kelly, he's also a pedophile and he got on MTV and stayed famous just fine.
isn't it funny how every week on NBC "to catch a predator" they arrest normal guys for going to have sex with a 15 year old, completely ruin their lives and careers by giving them a felony, but r. kelly is just fine, even though his act was caught on video?! makes ya wonder.
as for MJ, well a lot of people think he's innocent. hell, a lot of people even thought o.j. was innocent.
