Given that you have asked this question in the mathematics category I assume you are not talking about anything to do with energy or entropy but instead about the mathematical constant e.

e is a relatively recent (17th century) mathematical constant with a variety of definitions.

1- it is the base of "natural" logarithms. logarithms in base e are usually termed ln (natural logarithm). Therefore ln(e) = 1, just as log(10) = 1 (log in base 10)

2 - consider a graph y = 1/x. The area under the graph between 1 and e is defined as being 1. i.e integrate 1/x dx for x between 1 and e = 1

There are further implications and uses of e when using calculus.

3 - as n tends to infinity, the expression (1 + 1/n)^n tends to e.

4 - The sum of the infinite series 1/0! + 1/1! + 1/2! + 1/3! ....

The value of e is approx 2.71828 (it has an infinite number of decimal places)

Hope this helps and you weren't looking for something to do with energy!

E=Energy

in relativity= sum of MC^2(mass *the square of the speed of light)
in electricity=sum of Wab = qVab = q(V(b) − V(a))
The electric potential energy of a charge q situated at an electric potential V(r) is equal to the product qV(r). The work needed to move this charge through a potential difference is given by the above iquation:

e=everything

finaly e = 2.71828183

I just gogled it AND THAT WAS THE VALUE IT BROUGHT UP!

E can be a number of things depending on what you mean, for instance:

1) E = MC^2 (Energy = Mass x speed of light squared),

2) An ecstasy tablet

3)The fifth letter of the alphabet

4) A note on the music scale

5) An exclamation - as in Ee bye gum!

Ee I hope this helps :)

Getting a massive rushing sensation that feels like your gonna burst with excitement, then ya feel ya jaw getting tighter. Dance allnight like a pleb, then about three in the morning you look around the club and it starts to look like a warzone with casualties laying around by the walls and as the strobes flash you catch glimpses of monster faces. oh yeah an by this point your bursting for a pee but just cant go! that my friend is what E equals
