The Matrix is far better than The Gladiator. We have seen many movies that resemble the Gladiator but Matrix is an exception. ITs far more better than Gladiator.

Are you comparing "The Gladiator" to the trilogy or just the first movie. How about the Matrix trilogy to the Lord of the rings trilogy?
One on one, I'd go with "The Gladiator"

I don't think you can compare them... They're very different movies. The Gladiator was extremely well-researched and wonderfully presented. The Matrix was wonderfully creative and well thought-out.
Going by preference, I'd say The Matrix. Less bloody.

what an interesting question. two films so totally different. well it took me three viewings before I really understood what the Matrix was all about so i'll say Gladiator, although I do like the Matrix.

Gladiator...the story rides on more emotion, with triumph and trials...a great sequence of events.
As for the Matrix....Keanu Reeves just can't act.....the only role he played accurately was his character in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure.....oh,..well, Break Point was a decent movie.
