While this conversation seems laid to rest, yet I don t see an answer to what may actually have been the question. Charles Dickens "A Christmas Carol" was put on film in 1951, starring Alastair Simm. This film was released in the UK as Scrooge, and in the US as A Christmas Carol. The DVD copy I recently acquired offers me the choice to watch either. Other than the title card, however, I m wondering if there s any difference between the two which I haven t noticed?
